PsychPhys® has an accumulated 40 plus years of working experience in the healthcare industry. All staff are well versed in the evolution of community support needs and share a vision for the successful positioning of PsychPhys® within the healthcare and community support industries.

The professional staff at PsychPhys® are compassionate and demonstrate sensitivity to cultural values. All of PsychPhys® staff are supported to work within the Code of Ethical Practice for the Victorian Youth Sector.

PsychPhys® is a privately owned business.


Director of Operations

Peter joins us with over 25 years of business operational management experience. Peter is an experienced leader with proficiencies in product development, sales leadership and account management.

Through studies in PsychoPhysiology and Business Management, Peter has a thorough understanding of what PsychPhys® needs to succeed.

In his spare time, Peter enjoys catching up with friends and family, taking time out with a good coffee; and keeping his mind and body healthy.


Accounts/Payroll Officer

Our Accounts/Payroll Officer Romany holds a Diploma of Accounting and is now undertaking a Bachelor of Accounting. Romany has grown up being a part of the Australian Athletics Community, competing at National athletics events as well as being an avid gym-goer’.

Through her athletics, Romany has seen how emotional support and physical activity can shape young Australians’ lives for the better, and solidly stands behind PsychPhys®’ Mission.

The opportunity to combine Romany’s number-fanatic side with promoting independence through the holistic PsychPhys® Programme was a light bulb moment Romany says she now knows PsychPhys® is where she is meant to be.


Marketing & Promotions Officer 

Bachelor of Communication Design (Honours)

Michael is a Communication Design graduate with an avid interest in branding and digital advertising. Spending his early career working on freelance design projects, Michael later transitioned into digital media management for large corporations.

Whilst branding is Michael’s speciality, he also loves working with typography, motion graphics and print design. Michael enjoys crafting colourful, bubbly material that both engages and entertains. PsychPhys® gives him the perfect opportunity to apply his creativity for a programme he supports.

Despite living on the cutting edge of technology and design, Michael has a very dated taste in music and cinema. He is also the owner of an embarrassingly large comic book collection.


Accredited Exercise Physiologist


Rhys is Member of ESSA and is an Accredited Exercise Scientist and Accredited Exercise Physiologist Rhys has a Bachelor of Exercise Science (Clinical Practice); Master of Clinical Exercise Science & Rehabilitation.

Rhys has been passionate about exercise ever since he was 5-years-old and playing basketball. As someone who was unsure of what path to take since finishing high-school, Rhys entered the health industry in 2013 with one goal and passion in mind: To help those that are in need. Rhys’ experiences have confirmed his love and passion for helping others. Having successfully completed his bachelors and a masters degrees has provided him with the knowledge, ability, and understanding to work with young people.

Provisional Psychologist

BPsychScience, GradDip(Psych), MPP

Sheyan has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Graduate Diploma of Psychology from Deakin University. Sheyan also has a Master of Professional Psychology from Monash University.

Previously, Sheyan has worked overseas as a support worker assisting individuals with mental health issues. In more recent times, Sheyan has worked as a youth worker and a provisional psychologist in a private practice setting. Sheyan has an interest in health and neuropsychology, teaching clients healthy habits in regard to technology and creating overall positive changes in individual’s lives.

“I am thrilled to be a part of such a innovative team and can’t wait to start to use some of the skills and knowledge I have picked up over the years in practice!”

When he is not at PsychPhys Sheyan can be found playing cricket, walking his dog, playing video games, guitar and watching far too many movies!


Exercise Physiologist


Bec has her Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science. Before her degree she also completed her certificates in Fitness. Bec has been around water her whole life and has been a swimming teacher for the past 7 years. Bec has a passion for teaching children of all ages and all abilities. She helps out in the special abilities program at the pool where they help kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder about water familiarisation and water safety. Bec has also played water polo competitively even played for Australia. She has also played a variety of other sports such as netball, tennis, hockey and softball.

“I am excited to be a part of the PsychPhys team as I am able to take what I have learnt from the pool as well as my degree and help people become more active and healthy through tailored exercise programs.”


Provisional Psychologist

BA; GradDipPsych

Stephanie completed her Bachelor of Arts and Graduate Diploma of Psychologist through Deakin University.

Previously, Stephanie worked in the forensic setting for two years. Her aim with her clients was to reduce recidivism, improve their overall wellbeing and functioning, as well as empowering her clients to create sustainable behavioural change. She found this line of work to be rewarding and enjoyed assisting her clients to make positive changes within their lives.

Stephanie has an interest and passion for health and fitness. When not in the office you can find her in the gym, training, or going for a walk in nature.

Accredited Exercise Physiologist


Emily has a Bachelor of Exercise Science and a Master of Exercise Physiology from La Trobe University. Having grown up either involved in or watching sport at home, Emily has always had a keen interest in all things sport and exercise related. Having such a passion for exercise and for helping people, Exercise Physiology seemed to be the perfect fit!

Emily enjoys making exercise fun again, and her primary goal is to get people to exercise because they enjoy it, not because they have to.


Specialist Behaviour Practitioner

MSW BA(Human Serv). MAASW

Jacqui has a Bachelor of Human Services and Masters in Social Work from La Trobe University. Jacqui is an Australian Association of Social Work member.

Jacqui’s working experience includes disability, mental health, aged care, health and education. Jacqui also has experience using Horticulture as a therapeutic method of support.

Jacqui is a self-confessed nerd, who loves to research and is curious about the world around her.  In her free time, Jacqui loves to spend time with her friends, read and create art.

Provisional Psychologist

BPsych (Hons); Cert IV Child, Youth & Family Intervention

Lauren has completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in psychology through the University of Melbourne. She then went on to study her honours year in Psychology at the University of Melbourne, with her thesis focusing on social anxiety in middle childhood.

Throughout her studies Lauren worked in disability and social services. This provided the opportunity to work with individuals, ranging from young toddlers to adults, experiencing disability, developmental delay, mental health concerns and/or hardship. These experiences have instilled great compassion and drive to help build agency in those experiencing disadvantage and psychological difficulties.

More recently, Lauren has worked with individuals in community clinic, inpatient and outpatient settings; conducting assessments and assisting individuals with various mental health concerns.

Outside the office, Lauren enjoys being in nature, giving her pet cat, “Bobby” a pat and having “a go” at gardening.
