BPsych (Hons); Cert IV Child, Youth & Family Intervention

Lauren has completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in psychology through the University of Melbourne. She then went on to study her honours year in Psychology at the University of Melbourne, with her thesis focusing on social anxiety in middle childhood.

Throughout her studies Lauren worked in disability and social services. This provided the opportunity to work with individuals, ranging from young toddlers to adults, experiencing disability, developmental delay, mental health concerns and/or hardship. These experiences have instilled great compassion and drive to help build agency in those experiencing disadvantage and psychological difficulties.

More recently, Lauren has worked with individuals in community clinic, inpatient and outpatient settings; conducting assessments and assisting individuals with various mental health concerns.

Outside the office, Lauren enjoys being in nature, giving her pet cat, “Bobby” a pat and having “a go” at gardening.
